To expand the scope of its services, the association was renamed in 2013 as the “Taiwan Amusement Machine Association,” which demonstrated its commitment to deepen professional expertise and expand its international influence.
Since 1994, TAMA has organized the “GTI Asia Taipei Expo,” a flagship event for the amusement machine industry in Asia. Each year, the exhibition attracts buyers and industry representatives from around the world to Taiwan for exchanges and procurement, promoting the export of Taiwanese amusement products and effectively expanding business opportunities while fostering a positive entertainment culture. The 27th GTI Asia Taipei Expo held in 2024 once again received strong recognition from the industry and attracted significant international attention.
In the future, TAMA will continue to play a leading role in the industry, working hand in hand with its members and stakeholders from government, industry and academe to drive the development of the amusement machine sector toward innovation, sustainability and internationalization and jointly create new opportunities for Taiwan’s economy.
