「The Spark in the Auditorium

In the summer of 2019, sunlight streamed through the high windows of the Taichung Municipal Industrial High School auditorium, illuminating the youthful faces of the students below.

A COOLBIT seminar was underway. The hall was filled with students from the mechanical engineering department, their seats packed, their eyes shining with curiosity and longing for the future. Their laughter and murmurs blended into a lively energy that made the entire auditorium feel alive

Standing at the podium, Founder Shih looked out at the young crowd, waves of emotion stirring in his heart. His mind drifted back to Taichung’s CNC machining community—those familiar streets where the air was always laced with the scent of metal and machining oil, and where workers toiled day after day in noisy, exhausting environments.

These students might someday step into that same world, using their sweat and skill to keep the industry alive. Yet a deep ache surged within him—
they deserved better.

A better environment.

A bigger stage.

At that moment, Founder Shih turned to Minister Huang of the Ministry of Digital Affairs beside him, his gaze unwavering.

He murmured, “We need to do something. These young people deserve a different beginning.

”
Minister Huang nodded, as if he fully understood his resolve.

That very day, Founder Shih made an announcement to the students—

the launch of the “Ten-Million Love Initiative.

”
Not merely a donation, but the planting of dreams. He hoped that these young mechanical engineering students could learn and grow in a better environment, and someday create their own brilliance with their own hands.

From that moment on, the journey of creating a new machine quietly began.

It was more than a cold piece of equipment; it carried Founder Shih’s hopes for the next generation, and the emotional spark born in that auditorium filled with youthful passion.
