2026 TAGE- Taiwan Amusement & Gaming Expo: A Milestone in the Gaming Industry

The Taiwan Amusement & Gaming Expo (TAGE) will be held from April 23 to 25, 2026, at the Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1. Since its establishment in 1993, TAGE has become one of the most representative professional gaming machine exhibitions in Asia. Its predecessor, the GTI Taipei Show, has evolved with the times and changes in the global market, and in recent years, the exhibition has been renamed TAGE. It is co-hosted by the Taiwan Amusement Machine Industry Association (TAMA) and the Taiwan Digital Leisure and Entertainment Industry Association (TDEA), with Hot Games Taiwan as a co-organizer. This grand event focuses on game machine developers and component suppliers, showcasing Taiwan's important position in the global gaming machine industry.

Thirty Years of Accumulation, Radiating Globally
After more than thirty years of dedicated effort, TAGE has become a market-oriented international exhibition primarily targeting exports. The products showcased at the event cover entertainment, puzzles, gaming, online games, mobile games, and other related categories, aiming to promote technological development, information exchange, procurement trade, and interactive growth. TAGE is not only an Asian business opportunity platform but also a symbol of professionalism, trade, and internationalization, leading Taiwanese manufacturers to the world.

Renaming and Upgrading to Meet New Challenges
With the evolution of global exhibition formats, the organizers have upgraded the former GTI Taipei Show to an international platform aimed at attracting more overseas buyers and exhibitors. Drawing on the successful experiences of international exhibitions such as the UK's ATEI rebranding to ICE and the US's AMOA rebranding to AEI, the organizers decided to comprehensively upgrade the exhibition brand and rename it TAGE. This move not only enhances the recognition of international buyers but also attracts more attention from overseas professionals.

Historical Review: From Prosperity to Stagnation, Then to Revival
The inaugural GTI Taipei Show attracted 246 booths and nearly a hundred exhibitors, welcoming over 2,000 professional buyers from countries such as Japan, South Korea, the United States, and Brazil. From April 25 to 27, 2019, the exhibition celebrated its 26th anniversary, ultimately reaching nearly 6,000 visiting buyers, making it one of the most historic, representative, and influential events in the Asia-Pacific region. However, due to the outbreak of the global COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the exhibition was suspended for four years.

2024 Restart, Creating New Glory
As the global pandemic gradually eases, the Taipei Show will reopen from April 26 to 28, 2024. This exhibition attracted over 290 booths and more than 60 exhibitors, welcoming professional buyers from countries including Japan, the UK, the US, Italy, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Egypt, and India. Although the number of visitors was around 1,800, a decrease compared to previous years, this restarted event still showcased the resilience and vitality of Taiwan's gaming machine industry.

Looking to the Future: Continuing Innovation, Leading Trends
The reopening of the Taiwan Amusement & Gaming Expo symbolizes not only the revival of an industry but also a significant milestone in the internationalization of Taiwan's gaming machine industry. In the future, TAGE will continue to drive technological advancement with an innovative spirit, promote global market exchanges, and inject more vitality and possibilities into Taiwan's gaming machine industry.

A brand new starting point has arrived, and the Taiwan Amusement & Gaming Expo will embrace each challenge with higher standards and broader perspectives!
